"W" from Dealer "S" called with a status update from his latest printout. He said that a new status item has appeared: Planned for Production 2/23/1998. That's almost two weeks ago. I guess that means my car may already be on the production line. He said there's no serial number yet (the VIN, I assume). I asked about the M551 wind deflector that was left off the order. He said that it's too late to get it on the order, but that they could get it separately and have it ready when the car arrives. Good enough for me, assuming it costs the same.
