Discussed the garage situation with my landlord. I sort of have access to a garage space, but I use it for storage and he uses it for storage and tools and other things. He is not opposed to me using the space, but he will have to do something about all the tools, the table saw, etc. He doesn't want to try to wedge all his tools and other stuff in next to my nice new paint job where accidents can happen, so it will mean some sacrifice and juggling on his part. Since my rent hasn't changed in two years, I agreed to combine the garage space with a rent increase, with no further increase for at least another year.

While I was talking with my landlord, "J" left a voicemail message: my Boxster has arrived! He said I can pick it up tomorrow afternoon after they "PDI it" and install my windstop. I actually don't know if I'll be able to get there tomorrow since I'll have to arrange a ride after my midday meetings, but I'm sure going to try! I'll take a half a vacation day so I can take my time.
