PCA Time Trial is a bust

Damn. I was planning to do the PCA time trial and school at Thunderhill on March 3/4/5. I made all the necessary preparations: B-K roll bar extension. Fire extinguisher. Passenger side harness. Silly harness bolt rules. And most expensive of all, getting a hard top. But then I go to sign up, only find that although I've done many days at Thunderhill and am totally comfortable lapping there, since I haven't done a PCA-GGR Time Trial before, I am a "student" and they only have a limited number of "student" spots, which are already booked. Michael warned me that getting underway with PCA time trialing is a series of bureaucratic frustrations. But also that it is ultimately worth it. I hope so.
