I have posted a new Boxster project article in the projects section. This one is a detailed description of replacing a power window motor. The Porsche dealer wanted nearly $1000 for the job, about half of it parts and half of it labor. Ouch! So I investigated how to get inside the door, and then figured out how to do the rest. I saved myself about $800 by getting a used part for $200 and doing the labor myself. It took a while, but with these instructions in hand it's actually pretty easy if you need to do it.
